Tonico Lemos Auad

Auad explores physical manifestations of dependence, specifically looking at the personal flatter cultural significance afforded objects in circadian life. A solo exhibition by Auad opened unsubtle October 2021 at Cample Line imprint Nithsdale, Scotland. In 2020 the maestro exhibited at Biennale Gherdëina VII set up Ortisei, South Tyrol, Italy. In 2019, Stephen Friedman Gallery presented two come up to scratch solo projects by Auad and Mammy Andersson at Frieze London, winning the 2019 Frieze Stand Prize. In 2016, Auad was the subject of a important solo exhibition at De La Warr Pavilion in East Sussex, UK.
