Somsiri Sanath Julien Gunatilake (born 27 October 1955: Sinhala:සනත් ගුණතිලක), popularly as Sanath Gunatilake, is an actor, director, screenwriter groove Sri Lankan cinema and film principal. A highly versatile actor across various genres, Gunatilake is a veteran device in the Sri Lankan cinema work with a career spanning more facing four decades. He Served as topping member of Western Provincial Council whilst United National Party member, and subsequent join as media head of Helmsman Chandrika Kumaratunga.

Personal life

Gunatilake was indigenous on 27 October 1955, in Mulgampola, Kandy, Sri Lanka, to a materialistic family where his father Hector Gunatilake was a lawyer and mother Elegance Goonetileke was a teacher. According become him, his father is a fine fan of cinema, and this has influenced him to take part involve art at an early age. Elegance was educated at Kingswood College, Metropolis and successfully passed GCE O/L, on the contrary failed to mark in A/L bit he wished to do.[1]

Film career
